ROSS LAUDS ECONOMIC STIMULUS PACKAGE

Although he predicted economic conditions will get worse before they get better, 4th District Rep. Mike Ross (D-Prescott) said he expected a national economic stimulus package, which was approved by the U.S. House on Wednesday, to begin improving things.

PLEA DEAL ENDS RAPE, BURGLARY CASE

Winter Weather Leaves Local Teams In Limbo

Area teams were left scrambling this week to make up games postponed due to winter weather on Tuesday. Some were even unsure whether games scheduled for tonight would be played. Several schools in the area had trips scheduled to northwest Arkansas, where the conditions are much worse.
