Back in the win column, Hogs beat Tide 89 – 80

FAYETTEVILLE — Twenty-three nights had passed since Arkansas last won a game. The 23 nights “felt like eternity” to freshman forward Michael Sanchez. The 23 nights translated to plenty of sleepless nights for coach John Pelphrey, who commented the Hogs had “been on 12 (wins) for a while.”

Lt. Gov. Bill Halter will join Gov. Mike Beebe on tomorrow’s flyover inspection of ice storm damage in north Arkansas, according to an an e-mail received minutes ago. OK.
