Supporters of House Bill 1790, which would require diesel sold in Arkansas to contain at least 5 percent biodiesel, say the proposal could generate as many as 1,500 new jobs in the state.
The bill, sponsored by Rep. Tiffany Rogers, D-Stuttgart, is to be discussed in the Joint Committee on Energy next week.
