A first (sigh)

The Air Guard’s 18th Airlift Wing announces its first promotion of an African-American to colonel. He’s Lt. Col. Ronald McDaniel. From the press release: As the maintenance group commander, McDaniel oversees more than 175 officer and enlisted Airmen who repair and maintain the 189th Airlift Wing’s fleet of C-130 Hercules cargo aircraft.
