Event Funding Not A Blank Check

FAYETTEVILLE — The Fayetteville Arts Festival in 2007 spent $6.86 each for 150 tank-top T-shirts adorned with the event’s logo. Most of the shirts sold for $15 each, said Daniel Keeley, one of the festival’s key organizers. Leftovers went for $5 the next year.
