BATH, NY – A pair of convicted killers who fled an Arkansas prison in guard uniforms have agreed to be returned from western New York, where they were captured.

Calvin Adams and Jeffrey Grinder appeared in Steuben County Court on Friday to sign documents waiving an extradition hearing.

District Attorney John Tunney says local reckless endangerment charges against Adams from a traffic stop and high-speed chase will be dropped. Arkansas authorities are expected to retrieve the man as soon as this weekend.
