LITTLE ROCK — Gov. Mike Beebe on Monday announced 34 appointments to state boards and commissions Monday.
Those appointed:
—Sarah Argue of Little Rock to replace Lynda Johnson on the Arkansas Higher Education Coordinating Board. Her appointment expires May 1, 2015.
—Paul Brent of Lewisville reappointed to Red River Levee District One. His appointment expires May 10, 2015.
—Bob Burns of Magnolia reappointed to the Arkansas Higher Education Coordinating Board. His appointment expires May 1, 2015.
—Bari Cain of Searcy reappointed to the Arkansas Catfish Promotion Board. His appointment expires June 30, 2011.
—Peggy Parks of Prairie Grove replaces Julie Allison on the Prairie Grove Battlefield State Park Advisory Commission. Her appointment expires June 13, 2014.
—Kathryn Searcy of Little Rock reappointed to the Arkansas Alternative Dispute Resolution Commission. Her appointment expires June 30, 2015.
—John Smelley of Lewisville reappointed to Red River Levee District One. His appointment expires May 10, 2015.
—Tony Smith of Glenwood reappointed to the State Board of Embalmers and Funeral Directors. His appointment expires June 1, 2012.
—William Troutt of Lake Village reappointed to the Arkansas Catfish Promotion Board. His appointment expires June 30, 2011.
—Gerald Whistle of Texarkana reappointed to Red River Levee District One. His appointment expires May 10, 2015.
—Jerald Williamson of Lake Village reappointed to the Arkansas Catfish Promotion Board. His appointment expires June 30, 2011.
Reappointed to the Arkansas Corn and Grain Sorghum Promotion Board:
—Keith Feather of Griffithville.
—David Gammill of Tyronza.
—Douglas Threlkeld of Paragould.
—Tommy Young of Tuckerman.
These reappointments expire July 1, 2011.
Reappointed to the Arkansas Soybean Promotion Board:
—Todd Allen of West Memphis.

To the Arkansas Towing and Recovery Board:
