The next Vanity Fair issue, for August, will contain this article on Sarah Palin by Todd Purdum, a former reporter for The New York Times and the husband of former Bill Clinton spokesman Dee Dee Myers.
It’s long and somewhat repetitious, but at times interesting and altogether most unflattering. I understate on the latter.
I would get to the crux of its theme by referring to a sentence relating that some people who watched Palin up close in the general election campaign last year were looking up the phrase “narcissistic personality disorder,” and deciding, “Yeah, that’s it.”
Generally speaking, she comes off as mostly about emotion — as a kind of soap opera diva — and as one who prefers not to know so much, and to be contemptuous of the elitists who do. The article says she is “neither Anna Nicole Smith nor Margaret Chase Smith.”
Her class-based resentments and superficiality remind me a little of Mike Huckabee, actually.
Meantime, John Kerry joked the other day that Mark Sanford was the wrong Republican governor to go missing. Palin shot back, “John, why the long face?”

This is the most pathetic piece of “writing” I have ever seen. I certainly hope you don’t get paid for a bunch of copy-pasting of nonsensical trash. Because if you do, it’s a crime!
It’s funny that every time one of the BS attacks on Governor Palin comes out, it’s from anonymous sources.
How convenient!
Funny thing, while all of this nonsense is being written, Governor Palin just announced the largest infrastructure project in history, something Alaskan’s have pushed to have for 30 years. (It took her two to accomplish it!)

And while John Kerry, who is UNIVERSALLY regarded as a traitor by the military, for his actions in Vietnam, and after his homecoming, was making his lame joke about Governor Palin, she was visiting her National Guard troops in Kosovo to rousing applause, and then visiting wounded soldiers in Germany. Something our so-called “president” was too busy to do on his recent apology tour in Germany.

This pathetic piece of yours is an insult to intelligent and thoughtful bloggers worldwide. You cheapen this business.
