Negro League expert set for Butler Center lunch

Bob Kendrick of the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum in Kansas City will discuss the history of Arkansas’ black baseball teams, the national leagues, and their contributions to society and the civil rights movement at the Butler Center’s Legacies and Lunch, Monday at noon in Little Rock.

Four juveniles arrested after car break-in spree

Four Sherwood boys — ages 15 to 17 — were arrested by city police officers at 1:48 a.m. on Wednesday, July 22, after police were dispatched to the area of Stafford Drive in reference to four people going through parked cars there.

Residents warned of roof job scams
