Cabot company sees growth into national, international markets

National and international companies with Arkansas roots such as Dillardâ J.B. Hunt, Stephens Investments, Tyson, Candy Bouquet and of course Wal-Mart could soon be joined by CynerGreen, a Cabot-based, environmentally oriented company specializing in stainless steel, reusable water bottles.

Austin lacks quorum

Grandfather, grandson drown

A Carlisle grandfather and his 6-year-old grandson from Jacksonville drowned at a swimming hole on North Walters Chapel Road north of Carlisle in Lonoke County on Monday, July 27.

Jacksonville unveils highway sign honoring ‘American Idol’ Kris Allen

Community leaders, “American Idol” Kris Allen’s grandfather Charles Wood, and the young daughter of Jacksonville resident Mark Perry showed up for the unveiling of a sign, which will be visible to motorists along U.S. 67/167.
