Jobless Rate Ticks Higher in July

SPRINGDALE — The local unemployment rate in July was 6.2 percent, up from 4.2 percent a year ago, according to the federal Bureau of Labor Statistics. While it’s not good news, it’s not all together bad either, economists say.
