Dover Pirates outscore Subiaco Trojans 51-38

The Subiaco Trojans led at half time against the Dover Pirates 24-19 on Friday night, but the Pirates pulled away from the Trojans in the second half and won by a score of 51-38.

Junior volleyball team beats Union Christian

Mishits, miscommunication, and silly mistakes seemed to be common as the junior Lady Eagles took on the junior Lady Eagles of Union Christian Academy at Paris last week. Paris failed to communicate early in the second game and found themselves looking at a big deficit rather quickly.

Wells will speak at FB’s annual meeting

State Rep. John Paul Wells, D-Paris, will be the guest speaker at the North Logan County Farm Bureau Annual Meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 6 at 7 p.m. at the St. Benedict Catholic Church Parish Hall in Subiaco.

Early voting in the run off for a seat on the Scranton School Board began Tuesday. Early voting will end on Monday, Oct. 5 and the regular election will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 6.
