Arkansas News Bureau

LITTLE ROCK — Republican Tim Griffin said today he has raised more than $130,000 for his bid to unseat U.S. Rep. Vic Snyder, D-Little Rock, next year.

Griffin, a former interim U.S. attorney and aide to Karl Rove, announced his candidacy on Sept. 21. The third-quarter fundraising deadline was this week.

Other Republicans seeking to challenge Snyder include Little Rock restaurateur Scott Wallace and David Meeks of Conway, a former project manager for Blue Cross and Blue Shield.
