REGIONAL WRAP: HISTORY SHOWS GRANT COUNTY VULNERABLE TO QUAKES

While most earthquake activity in Arkansas is recorded along the New Madrid Seismic Zone, which runs 150 miles from near Cairo, Ill., to Marked Tree in Poinsett County, recent reports of quake activity in the vicinity of Greenbrier in Faulkner County, indicate Grant County residents have a vulnerability to seismic activity, too.
