I closely followed the case at the time, and understand how a jury, in the heat of the moment, with the urge to convict SOMEBODY of this horrendous crime, might render guilty verdicts on such flimsy( actually no) evidence. But an honest judge should be able to review the lack of evidence and new DNA findings and at least allow for a new trial. Burnett should be ashamed, and is unfit for any office.
