Shots fired at Motel 6

North Little Rock police and fire rescue personnel responded to a 911 call of shots fired at the Motel Six on West 29th Street in North Little Rock around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday to find a black man in room 144 with multiple gunshot wounds.

Retired cop may have seen two men wanted in slaying

A retired Pulaski County sheriff’s patrol commander with 30 years service just happened to be taking a drive down North Little Rock’s Division Street moments before the Christmas Eve shooting of a Salvation Army major. He gave police descriptions of men who may be the two armed assailants and a possible accomplice.
