LITTLE ROCK — The poll, commissioned by the Arkansas News Bureau/Stephens Media, was conducted by Mason-Dixon Polling & Research, Inc. of Washington, D.C.
Conducted Monday through Wednesday, pollsters interviewed 625 registered voters covering each of the state’s four congressional districts.
The number of people surveyed per congressional district was determined by the number of registered voters, so more people were surveyed in the 2nd District, 170, than the other three. Of the other three districts, 145 were interviewed in the 1st District, and 155 were interviewed in both the 3rd and 4th districts.
The margin of error in the poll is plus or minus 4 percentage points, meaning that there is a 95 percent probability that the “true” figure would fall within that range if the entire population were sampled.
The survey includes a sub-sample of 303 likely Democratic primary voters. The margin of error on the Democratic primary questions is plus or minus 6 percent.
