LITTLE ROCK — A 43-year-old woman sentenced to a Department of Community Correction correctional facility less than two weeks has died, the department said.

Thelma Williams, convicted of commercial burglary in Greene County, was taken by ambulance to a hospital Thursday where she died of unknown causes, the department said today.

Williams was scheduled to be released in October.

The death is under investigation.
