Bush to El Dorado

That’s right. Former president George W. Bush will be heading to El Dorado to speak at the signing ceremony for students receiving the El Dorado Promise scholarship. Details at Arkansas Business. 250 students qualified for the award. I guess that answers the famous Bushism: "Is our children learning?"

Jim Holt sent out press releases today knocking Sen. Gilbert Baker for co-sponsoring a "cap-and-trade" resolution in the Arkansas legislature last year. But, as the AP reports, the resolution didn’t mention anything about cap-and-trade. Woops.
