Student Council collecting cereal The Cabot Middle School South Student Council is participating in the annual summer cereal drive that is sponsored by Channel 11. The goal is to fill a storage container with cereal, toaster pastries, breakfast bars and other nonperishable breakfast items by Friday.

April 30 — The Cabot Lions Club will hold a book sale at Centennial Bank of Cabot at 2171 W. Main St. from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Proceeds raised from this Cabot Lions Club fundraiser will go toward purchasing eyeglasses for in-need children and adults and other programs supporting the community.

Strawberry Festival offers tempting treats, thrilling rides

Storm clouds Saturday morning gave way to sunny skies that brought people back to the carnival rides and treats offered at the Strawberry Festival held at Cabot Veterans Park Community Center.
