How others view us

Politico’s Jonathan Martin nationalizes the Lincoln-Halter race through the prism of a Clinton visit. With all due respect, I think Arkansas voters will make a decision through a different prism. Like her. Like him. Like status quo. Like lottery. Etc.

Former President Bill Clinton spoke today at a rally for Blanche Lincoln for Senate in Little Rock amid questions about his involvement in the White House deal to offer Rep. Video: Senate Ads – A Union and A Halter

Another day, another union attack ad on Sen. Blanche Lincoln.  This one is from the Communication Workers of America.  It features several apparently middle class workers talking about Lincoln not caring about their jobs. “I can’t feed my family without a job,” says a man. “But Arkansas middle class jobs are disappearing,” continues a woman. “Because [...]

Blanche Lincoln for Senate campaign unveiled this new ad today which touts her efforts in the financial reform bill to force banks to spin off their derivative trading practice.  I find this ad strange for several reasons. First, most Arkansans care nothing about derivatives.  Even if they know what a derivative is it is not [...]
