Arkansas News Bureau

LITTLE ROCK — Fox News commentator Dick Morris and former Democratic U.S. Senate candidate D.C. Morrison will make a six-city tour of the state this week to “spread the message of freedom and liberty,” according to Americans for Prosperity, the group sponsoring the tour.

Morris and Morrison are scheduled to visit Mountain Home and Jonesboro on Wednesday, Searcy and Little Rock on Thursday and Hot Springs Village and Texarkana on Friday.

A news release from Americans for Prosperity said the tour would send a clear message to politicians who “propose legislation to expand the role of government in our lives.”

Morrison, an agricultural loans consultant, received 13 percent of the vote in Arkansas’ May 18 three-way Democratic U.S. Senate primary. Morris is a former adviser to Bill Clinton who is now an outspoken critic of the Clinton presidency and an advocate for a number of conservative causes.
