LITTLE ROCK — The state lottery’s new Million Dollar Raffle encountered a software glitch in its first week, lottery officials said today.
The game, which debuted July 14, costs $10 to play and offers a chance to win one of two $1 million prizes. Some players can also win instant $20 prizes, but 45 players who should have received instant prizes did not because of “a software issue” at one retail location, lottery officials said in a news release.
Though the problem originated with one retailer, the affected tickets were sold across the state, said lottery spokeswoman Julie Baldridge.
The holders of the 45 tickets can contact the lottery to collect their prizes. A list of the numbers of the affected tickets is posted on the lottery’s website.
