In a new media awareness campaign, the Arkansas Minority Health Commission seeks to increase the awareness of Sickle Cell Disease. The Face Sickle Cell campaign, launching September 1 in commemoration of National Sickle Cell Awareness Month, uses television and the web to make a statement that we must “Face” Sickle Cell together.
