The long, drawn-out opening weekend of the college football season made us get a little off schedule this weekend.
Let me explain.
Every week we’re going to take a look at the Heisman Trophy candidates in a blog post. In it, we’ll compare the top 10 Heisman contenders as voted on weekly by the fine panel put together by the excellent website HeismanPundit.com. We’re going to compare statistics for the past week and the season. We’ll include it in our Razorback Rewind section for Monday’s paper, but also carve out some space right here on the blog for Sunday afternoons.
But with Sunday games and Monday games over the holiday weekend, we’ve had to change our plans. I made up a list of some Heisman hopefuls for the week and put it in my notebook that did appear on the website and in Monday’s papers, but Heisman hopefuls like Kellen Moore and Ryan Williams still waiting to play.
