Mount Holly Cemetery wall damaged

Anne Orsi, a member of the Mount Holly Cemetery Association, writes to tell me a vehicle crashed three times Wednesday morning into the historic cemetery’s wall along Broadway. Last week, 32 Pulaski County Special School District teachers and administrators walked out of diversity training. One of their chief complaints as voiced by board member Gloria Lawrence was that the facilitator made them feel uncomfortable and used the term “white,” which they found objectionable.

Pulaski County school board has ethical woes

During last week’s emergency meeting of the Pulaski County Special School District board, new board member Tom Stuthard of Jacksonville moved to go into executive session because he said he had some things he wanted to say to board members in private and not “out here for everyone to hear.”
