Wade Out
Wide receiver Marquel Wade, ejected at Vanderbilt and suspended by the Southeastern Conference the next week against South Carolina, was not dressed out with the Razorbacks on Saturday against Tennessee.
Coach Bobby Petrino said in his post-game news conference that Wade broke a team rule. “It had nothing to do with Vanderbilt,” he said.
Asked after Thursday’s practice about Wade’s progress after his suspension, Petrino said he had been getting some reps in practice.
Tank Back
Defensive end Tenarius ‘Tank’ Wright, who broke his arm against Alabama, returned to action Saturday against Tennessee. He started opposite Jake Bequette — the first game the two have started together since the New Mexico game. Bequette pulled a hamstring and missed three games.
Wright recorded one assisted tackle in the game.

Johnson No. 5
For the fifth time this season, Dennis Johnson led the Arkansas rushing attack, turning in 97 yards on 11 carries and two touchdowns, plus 43 yards in pass receptions. He had a 71-yard touchdown run in the second quarter.
Johnson was named SEC Offensive Player of the Week following the game at Ole Miss, when he rushed for 160 yards on 15 carries.
Versatility has been Johnson’s trademark since returning to the team for the Troy game. He missed 13 straight games dating back to last season with injuries. He has scored touchdowns by rushing, by pass receiving and on a kickoff return.
19 Under 2
Arkansas scored its 17th, 18th, and 19th touchdowns on drives taking less than 2 minutes this season. The fastest of the three on Saturday required eight seconds.
Tyler Wilson’s pass to Joe Adams from the Tennessee 40 with 4:17 left in the third quarter took 20 seconds early in the second quarter.
Dennis Johnson went 71 yards on second-and-10 after an incomplete pass on first down. That TD came with 11:25 left in the half.
Broderick Green scored on a 10-yard pass from Wilson on a drive that consumed 1:01.
Vols Imperfect
Before Saturday, the Tennessee Volunteers were 4-0 when a freshman started at quarterback in his first road game. Justin Worley of Rock Hill, S.C., took over for sophomore Tyler Bray as the Tennessee signal caller and went into the Arkansas game 1-1 at home, losing to South Carolina and defeating Middle Tennessee State.
Franklin Leads
Jerry Franklin, who was tied for fourth in the SEC in tackles going into Saturday, added nine to his total against the Vols. He also is second on the team and is eighth in the league in tackles for losses.
Tramain Thomas led the team Saturday with 10.
Franklin’s season highlight came against Vanderbilt when he picked up a fumble and returned it 94 yards for a touchdown.
Dominating East
Arkansas owns the longest current winning streak in the SEC against opponents from the other division.
The victory over Tennessee put the mark at seven. It’s also the Razorbacks’ longest streak over teams from the Eastern Division since the Razorbacks joined the SEC for football in 1992.
Mr. November
Coach Bobby Petrino is as much Mr. November in college football as Reggie Bush was Mr. October in Major League Baseball. The Arkansas win over Tennessee was the 10th for the Razorbacks in their last 11 games played under Petrino during November.
He went into Saturday’s game against the Vols with a .785 all-time winning percentage in November — best among active SEC coaches.
