Home BancShares declares dividend

LITTLE ROCK - Home BancShares Inc. on Friday declared a regular quarterly dividend of 5.5 cents per share, payable June 4 to shareholders of record May 14.

The dividend represents a 2-cent per share, or 57.1 percent, increase over the dividend paid during the second quarter of the previous year.

The financial holding company is headquartered in Conway, and it has banks in Arkansas and Florida.

Shares of Home BancShares (NasdaqGS: HOMB) closed Friday at $22.53, up 31 cents.
