Young Suspended For Two Games

FAYETTEVILLE –BJ Young missed the Razorbacks’ final exhibition game and will miss Friday’s season opener against Sam Houston State.

Prior to Monday’s game against LeMoyne-Owen, Arkansas coach Mike Anderson announced the sophomore guard would miss two games for “a violation of team rules.”

“I hold my players to a high standard both on and off the court,” Anderson said. “BJ fell short of those standards and as a result has been suspended for two games. He will continue to practice and be a part of all team activities during the suspension.”

Young was selected as a preseason All-SEC member and led the Razorbacks with 15.3 points per game last season.
