Beebe names 17 to state boards. commissions


LITTLE ROCK — Gov. Mike Beebe on Thursday announced 17 appointments to state boards and commissions.

Those appointed:

—Tonya Butzlaff, Hot Springs, replaces Dennis Emerson on the Arkansas Alcohol and Drug Abuse Coordinating Council. Her appointment expires July 1, 2016.

—Adam Davis, Marianna, reappointed to the Arkansas Board of Podiatric Medicine. His appointment expires Sept. 1, 2016.

—Alex Dellinger, Little Rock, replaces Kent Magrini on the Arkansas Board of Podiatric Medicine. The appointment expires Sept. 1, 2016.

—Scott Ellington, Jonesboro, replaces Larry Jegley on the Arkansas Alcohol and Drug Abuse Coordinating Council. His appointment expires July 1, 2016.

—Joy Figarsky, Little Rock, replaces Jennifer Gallaher on the Children’s Behavioral Health Care Commission. Her appointment expires Aug. 15, 2014.

—Jean Harper of Malvern, replaces Larry Reynolds on the Public Transportation Coordination Council. The appointment expires Sept. 20, 2017.

—Reta Hudson, Texarkana, reappointed to the Arkansas Board of Podiatric Medicine. The appointment expires Sept. 1, 2016.

—Gary Morgan of Saint Joe reappointed to the State Board of Examiners of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors. The appointment expires Sept. 14, 2017.

—Derrick Newby, Pine Bluff, replaces Mary Smith on to the State Board of Sanitarians. His appointment expires June 30, 2014.

—Ross Noland, Little Rock, to the Committee for the Study of Concentrated Animal Feeding Operation Procedures. The appointment expires August 15, 2014. This is a new position.

—Lott Rolfe IV, North Little Rock, replaces Michael Bingham on the Arkansas Child Abuse, Rape and Domestic Violence Commission. The appointment expires July 1, 2015.

—Martha Fisher Simpson, Crossett, replaces Delois Sykes on the Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council. Her appointment expires July 1, 2016.

—Kelley Smith, England, replaces Barbara Gilkey on the Arkansas Early Childhood Commission. The appointment expires July 1, 2015.

—Cindy Snider, Magnolia, reappointed to the State Board of Examiners of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors. The appointment expires Sept. 14, 2017.

—Greg Stubblefield, Arkadelphia, replaces Steven Henson on the Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council. The appointment expires July 1, 2014.

—Susan Waggener, West Memphis, replaces Sharon Schrantz on the Arkansas Child Abuse, Rape and Domestic Violence Commission. Her appointment expires July 1, 2015.

—Frank “Mic” Wright, Prairie Grove, reappointed to the State Board of Examiners of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors. His appointment expires Sept. 14, 2017.
