Hansen leaving AG’s office for PSC

LITTLE ROCK – Deputy Attorney General Dennis Hansen has been named chief administrative law judge and commissioner’s chief of staff at the state Public Service Commission, Attorney General Dustin McDaniel’ said Monday.

Hansen has worked at the attorney general’s office for 16 years, having served as chief deputy under attorney general Mark Pryor and Mike Beebe, and assistant attorney general under Winston Bryant. He will take his new position with the PSC on Jan. 20.

“I have counted on Dennis for his expert advice on some of the most significant legal issues to face our state,” McDaniel said in a statement released by his office. “His knowledge of the law is second to none, and this office has greatly benefited from his service.”
