JULIAN HORTON: Arkansas’ senior wide receiver from Norcross, Ga., scored the touchdown that broke a 10-10 tie on a 22-yard end-around play. He also caught a 10-yard pass from Brandon Allen in the first half.
ALAN TURNER: The junior safety from Junction City recorded a game-high 16 tackles, including six solo stops and a half tackle for loss. Turner also broke up a potential touchdown pass in the end zone for the Razorbacks.
DAMIAN WILLIAMS: The freshman quarterback for Mississippi State broke Arkansas’ back on the first play of the overtime period when he picked his way through defenders to score from 25 yards out. Williams had seven rushes for 40 yards in the game and threw four times, completing three.
TYLER RUSSELL: The senior starting quarterback didn’t put up gaudy numbers but was very efficient for the Bulldogs on Saturday, connecting on 18-of-28 passes for 263 yards and two touchdowns. He was sacked once.
JONATHAN WILLIAMS: The sophomore running back led Arkansas in rushing despite being third in number of carries and being held out of the first quarter for reporting late for weight training. He had 59 yards on eight carries.
