Arkansas baseball moves one spot to No. 24


FAYETTEVILLE — The Arkansas baseball team has moved up one spot to No. 24 in this week’s Baseball America poll after completing its second straight weekend sweep.

The Razorbacks came from behind to beat Eastern Illinois 8-3 on Sunday and improved to 6-0 this season.

Arkansas is one of eight Southeastern Conference teams in the Baseball America top 25 poll this week. The Razorbacks join South Carolina (No. 3), LSU (7), Vanderbilt (8), Mississippi State (18), Alabama (21), Texas A&M (23) and Florida (25).

Arkansas begins a three-game series against South Alabama on Friday afternoon.
