Breaking Down Arkansas’ RPI

FAYETTEVILLE — The NCAA men’s basketball Ratings Percentage Index (RPI) is updated on Mondays throughout the season. Each week, we’ll evaluate Arkansas’ RPI as it winds through Southeastern Conference play.

The Razorbacks went 1-1 last week, narrowly missing a big RPI win at Missouri on Thursday night. The Razorbacks rebounded to top LSU, splitting the season series with the Tigers.

Arkansas faces the SEC’s two lowest RPI teams this week in South Carolina and Mississippi State. So it’s a dangerous week for a team with no margin for error. There’s not much the Razorbacks can gain for their resume this week, but there is plenty to lose in dropping either game as Arkansas tries to climb into the postseason tournament picture.

Below is a breakdown of Arkansas’ RPI:

Arkansas (16-9, 5-7 in SEC)
