FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas tight end Austin Tate called the Fayetteville police department to report a burglary at his residence Friday night, according to a preliminary police report.
Tate told police that the burglary occurred while the Razorbacks were out of town to play their season finale at LSU, according to the report.
Sgt. Jason French of the Fayetteville police department said the back door of the residence had been kicked in and several items were stolen from the residence, including televisions, game consoles and hunting shotguns.
Arkansas left for Baton Rouge, La., on Thursday and returned Friday night. Tate reported the burglary at 9:23 p.m., according to the report.
Tate — who is a fifth-year senior from Harrison — played his final game as a Razorback during Arkansas’ 31-27 loss to the Tigers.
