Five Keys - Arkansas vs. Texas A&M

GIMME FIVE — KEYS TO TODAY’S GAME

1. Make Plays In Secondary

The blueprint to beat Arkansas’ defense is pretty clear after four games. Patiently work the ball downfield against a struggling secondary. Arkansas - which ranks 111th in the nation in pass defense - needs someone to change it today.

2. Sustain Drives With Ground Game

Big plays have been Arkansas’ only weapon lately, so the Hogs need to establish a ground game at Texas A&M. Success will help in many ways. It takes pressure off QB Tyler Wilson. It also creates longer drives to keep a porous defense off the field.

3. Win Turnover Battle

Arkansas has been terrible with turnovers on both sides of the ball in 2012. The Razorbacks have committed 12 turnovers in four games and have forced only two. The minus-10 turnover margin must change or another loss is likely.

4. Keep Manziel Contained

Arkansas will chase another quarterback who can make plays with his feet in Texas A&M’s Johnny Manziel. The Hogs hope this one turns out better. Arkansas must make sure Manziel doesn’t escape for big plays or it will be a long afternoon.

5. Improve In Pass Protection

Texas A&M’s front is a talented group and has been a problem for opponents. The Aggies have 16 sacks in three games, led by end Damontre Moore (6). So Arkansas must find a way to protect Tyler Wilson to give the Hogs a chance today.
