FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas received a verbal commitment from Pine Bluff Dollarway High safety Josh Liddell on Saturday, according to Hawgs Illustrated.
Liddell was previously committed to Arkansas State, but changed his mind after receiving a scholarship offer from the Razorbacks.
“It’s still a dream for me,” Liddell told Hawgs Illustrated on Saturday. “The biggest reason is because of the head coach – Coach (Bret) Bielema. I think he is a great coach and very smart and all the other (Razorback) coaches as well. It is a close coaching staff, very, very close and it is a family-like atmosphere.”
Liddell is rated as a two-star prospect by both Rivals.com and Scout.com. He is the 20th player who has either verbally committed or signed with the Razorbacks. All verbal commitments are non-binding until National Signing Day (Feb. 5).
