LITTLE ROCK — The Arkansas Judicial Disability and Discipline Commission has recommended that an east Arkansas judge be removed from the bench for acting as an attorney while also sitting as a judge.

The nine-member commission on Friday unanimously agreed with a panel’s recommendation that Circuit Judge L.T. Simes be removed from the bench for violating several rules concerning judicial conduct.
